QB plus the two highest-projected receiving teammates, ranked by combined projection. This compares a three-player core, not a complete lineup or simulated ROI. Ownership is each player’s projected field share; adding it gives cumulative ownership, not the probability of that exact stack.

The slate in one page
Start with the three environments that separate from the rest of this uploaded model: Buffalo–Las Vegas at 53.5, Chicago–Atlanta at 52.5, and Arizona–Los Angeles at 51.5. New Orleans–New York Giants sits next at 46.5. Those games supply the first passing stacks, most of the expensive offensive pieces, and the strongest choices when deciding where a lineup can generate multiple touchdowns.
The raw projection leaders are Josh Allen at quarterback, Bijan Robinson at running back, Puka Nacua at wide receiver, and Trey McBride at tight end. That is a ranking of expected fantasy points in this snapshot. It is not a requirement to put all four in one roster, and it does not establish which lineup has the highest contest return. Salary, the rest of the roster, correlation, and duplication all matter.
For a practical cash starting point, compare Allen against the salary saved by Tyler Shough. Use Bijan and Kyren Williams as the first running-back discussion, Puka as the premium receiver benchmark, and Xavier Worthy as a meaningful salary-relief candidate. At tight end, Juwan Johnson and Harold Fannin Jr. deserve consideration before automatically following Isaiah Likely’s very high ownership estimate. The Panthers defense is the model’s raw points-and-price leader, subject to checking its unusually strong projection and the actual opponent lineup.
For tournaments, start with a coherent explanation of how the game scores. Allen with DJ Moore and a Las Vegas return, Stafford with Puka and an Arizona return, or Caleb Williams with a Chicago receiver and an Atlanta play are natural structures. Then rotate the secondary receiver or tight end and the independent running backs. Diversity should come from different plausible routes to ceiling, rather than changing one cheap player across a nearly identical portfolio.
What this research does—and does not—establish
This playbook is prepared October 17, 2026 from the supplied NFL Main projection snapshot. It contains 510 salary rows across 20 teams and ten matchups. Of those rows, 263 have a positive projection: 20 quarterbacks, 60 running backs, 99 receivers, 64 tight ends and 20 defenses. All positive-projection players appear in the position directories below, with the remaining salary rows retained in a separate reference directory.
Player teams, salaries, projections and matchup assignments follow the supplied file. The file does not provide game-start timestamps, a slate date, confirmed inactive reports, verified route participation, or an official DraftKings salary-file match. Before entering contests, verify the selected slate and official player IDs and recheck starting quarterbacks and availability. A positive projection or a starting-status field is not independent confirmation of active status.
The supplied floor and ceiling columns describe the source snapshot; they are not established statistical percentiles or guarantees. Ownership percentages are estimates, not final field shares and not recommended personal exposure. A value of zero ownership should be treated cautiously, especially when a player still has a meaningful projection. Nothing in this article has been ranked by a completed contest simulation; examples are projection-based research constructions.

Totals and implied points are the uploaded snapshot, not independently checked live betting lines. Rounded implied points can differ slightly from the total.
Buffalo–Las Vegas: premium quarterback, flexible partners
Allen’s $7,500 salary buys a 26.33 projection, comfortably ahead of every other quarterback. Buffalo also carries 29.5 implied points. He is the cleanest raw quarterback anchor, but his 24.9% ownership estimate means a popular Allen lineup needs thought elsewhere. An Allen rushing touchdown can produce a strong quarterback score without helping a receiver, so he does not require a double stack in every tournament construction.
DJ Moore leads Buffalo receivers at 13.40 projected points for $5,600. Dalton Kincaid at $5,100, Khalil Shakir at $5,300 and Keon Coleman at $4,900 are additional correlation choices. Moore–Kincaid gives a receiver/tight-end version; Moore–Coleman gives a different salary and scoring distribution. Do not force a secondary Buffalo player simply because Allen is already selected. James Cook III is a strong independent running-back option at 19.68 projected points, but Allen–Cook needs a whole-offense scoring case rather than an assumed passing-touchdown link.
Las Vegas supplies the return choices: Brock Bowers at $7,500, Ashton Jeanty at $6,500 and Tre Tucker at $4,700. Bowers is the clearest receiving projection at 17.16, while Tucker costs much less. Kirk Cousins at $5,400 with Bowers is the reverse game-stack branch. Michael Mayer at $3,200 is a low-cost alternative, not an automatic replacement for Bowers’ projected production.
Chicago–Atlanta: the most balanced shootout construction
This game has a supplied 52.5 total with Chicago at 27 implied points and Atlanta at 25.5. The balanced scoring expectation makes it attractive for stacks where both offenses need to keep answering. Caleb Williams costs $6,200 and projects for 19.58 points at only 3.2% estimated ownership. That ownership difference against Allen and Stafford is meaningful, but it is only useful if Chicago actually delivers the concentrated passing production the lineup needs.
Luther Burden III is the highest Chicago receiving projection at 12.96 for $5,400. Rome Odunze at $4,900 and Colston Loveland at $4,300 are the next alternatives, and Kalif Raymond at $3,900 supplies a cheaper branch with 9.07 projected points. Williams–Burden–Loveland is a logical double stack. Williams–Odunze is a cheaper single stack that can support a more expensive return or running back. D’Andre Swift is a separate 15.97-point running-back candidate; his presence does not automatically make every Chicago passing stack better.
Bijan is the slate’s highest projected running back at 26.54, while Drake London leads Atlanta receivers at 17.32. Either can complete the opposite side of a Chicago stack. Michael Penix Jr. costs $5,000 and allows an Atlanta-led build with London or Kyle Pitts Sr. Pitts’ $3,700 salary and 10.36 projection are particularly useful when the premium receiver budget is tight. Jahan Dotson is a deeper alternative; his 5.83 projection makes the workload assumption much more demanding.
Arizona–Los Angeles: enormous Rams ceiling, concentration risk
Los Angeles carries the highest supplied team implied total at 32 points. Stafford is second among quarterbacks at 20.72 points for $6,400; Puka is first among receivers at 23.64 for $8,100. Stafford–Puka is therefore a natural baseline passing stack. Puka’s 42.6% estimated ownership makes him expensive chalk, but fading the highest receiver projection requires a real alternative rather than a reflexive attempt to be different.
Davante Adams supplies the second receiver route at $6,600 and 14.69 projected points. Stafford–Puka–Adams is expensive and makes a concentrated passing-touchdown bet. Tyler Higbee at $3,400 is the cheaper tight-end branch at 7.72 points. Colby Parkinson is another possible receiving alternative, but his 5.51 projection means he needs a more specific scoring outcome. Kyren at $6,800 and 18.72 points is attractive in cash discussions and in a Rams rushing-success branch. Blake Corum’s 8.56 projection does not justify assuming Kyren’s workload disappears.
Arizona’s 19.5 implied points trail considerably. That makes an opposing return optional when the Rams can win comfortably. McBride is the strongest Arizona receiving projection at 17.30 and only 6.0% estimated ownership; Michael Wilson is next at 13.68. A Stafford–Puka–McBride construction uses the return slot at tight end. Jacoby Brissett with McBride is a less popular reverse branch that needs Arizona passing volume to translate into fantasy production.
New Orleans–New York Giants: strong value quarterback, expensive ownership trap
Tyler Shough is a key salary decision: $5,600, 19.23 projected points and 3.5% estimated ownership. His projection is only 1.49 behind Stafford while saving $800. That does not make him safer or better in every roster, but it makes him a serious comparison in both cash and tournaments. The supplied game total of 46.5 also gives this matchup a more favorable scoring context than most of the lower board.
Chris Olave is the second-highest projected receiver at 17.50 for $7,600, with only 6.6% estimated ownership. Shough–Olave is a clear concentrated passing bet. Juwan Johnson contributes 11.28 points at $4,500, and Devaughn Vele adds 11.06 at $5,100. Shough–Johnson is cheaper than Shough–Olave, while a double stack needs enough New Orleans passing scores to justify the extra teammate. Alvin Kamara and Kendre Miller offer different rushing/receiving branches, but the file alone does not establish their touch split.
The Giants’ first choices are Cam Skattebo at running back, Malik Nabers at receiver and Likely at tight end. Likely projects for 12.02 at $4,800, yet carries a 37.8% ownership estimate and a supplied floor of only 0.30. That is a strong reason to compare Johnson, Fannin and the premium tight ends rather than label Likely an automatic cash lock. Jameis Winston–Nabers is the reverse passing branch; Malachi Fields and Darnell Mooney are lower-projection alternatives.
New England–New York Jets: a quarterback ceiling branch outside the top totals
Maye is third in quarterback projection at 19.62 for $6,600. New England has 25.5 implied points in a 43.5-total game, so this offense can still matter even though the overall environment is below the leading three. His 4.4% estimated ownership makes him a reasonable tournament alternative. His $200 premium over Stafford needs to earn its place through the particular roster and ceiling story; the raw projection favors Stafford.
A.J. Brown leads the supplied New England receiver projections at 10.86, followed by Romeo Doubs at 8.64 and Hunter Henry at 8.55. The file assigns Brown zero ownership despite a positive projection, so treat that as a data-quality check rather than a literal promise that nobody will roster him. Maye–Henry is the lower-cost tight-end stack. Doubs offers another receiving path, with Efton Chism III and DeMario Douglas deeper alternatives. Stevenson is a strong $6,000 running-back candidate at 17.15 points and 23.6% estimated ownership.
Garrett Wilson is the obvious Jets return at 16.79 points and $6,800. Braelon Allen at $5,700 and 14.17 points is the running-back alternative. Geno Smith costs $4,900 but projects for only 14.65; his cheap passing stack needs more than savings to beat the higher quarterback tier. Tim Patrick, Isaiah Williams and Kenyon Sadiq are secondary pieces whose lower projections should remain visible rather than being mistaken for core plays.
Indianapolis–Tennessee: value quarterback versus a rushing-led favorite
Indianapolis is implied for 25.8 points against Tennessee’s 18.8 in the supplied snapshot. Daniel Jones costs $5,200 and projects for 17 points, which makes him a reasonable saving option when a high-end running back or receiver is the real lineup priority. Jonathan Taylor at $8,000 and 18.23 points creates a different Indianapolis branch: success through rushing rather than multiple passing touchdowns.
Tyler Warren leads the Indianapolis receiving projections at 12.06 for $5,300, with Josh Downs at 11.23 for $5,800 and Keenan Allen at 8.98 for $4,300. Jones–Warren gives a tight-end stack without needing two receivers. Jones–Downs–Allen is a larger passing bet with more salary committed to a modest quarterback projection. Keenan Allen’s 15.2% estimated ownership is relatively large for his projection, so his salary relief should be compared with alternatives instead of treated as free value.
Cam Ward at $4,800 and 15.02 points is the cheap opposing quarterback branch. Carnell Tate is Tennessee’s best receiver projection at 12.06 for $5,000; Wan’Dale Robinson follows at 10.14 for $4,500. Tate or Robinson can return an Indianapolis passing stack, but a return is optional when the favorite’s production is sufficiently concentrated. Tony Pollard, Tyjae Spears and Gunnar Helm belong in the secondary decision tree, not in a claim that this is a premium scoring environment.
Kansas City–Los Angeles Chargers: a useful value receiver without forcing the quarterback
Kansas City is implied for 24.5 points in a game totaled at 41.5. Mahomes projects for 17.66 points at $6,500, below several cheaper quarterbacks in this snapshot. His 2.9% estimated ownership makes him a tournament possibility, but that price/projection gap means he is not the default value choice. A Mahomes roster should express a specific Kansas City passing-ceiling outcome.
Worthy is different: $4,600, 13.08 projected points and 21.7% estimated ownership. He is useful salary relief even outside a full Kansas City stack. Kelce at $5,500 and 9.78 points is the premium-name alternative whose cost still needs to fit the model. Jalen Royals at $3,300 and 7.32 points is a cheaper double-stack branch; Cyrus Allen at $3,500 and 5.38 is deeper. Kenneth Walker III projects for 18.88 at $8,500. His supplied floor and ceiling are appealing, but his mean projection per dollar trails several other expensive backs.
Herbert costs $5,000 and projects for 14.03 on the other side. Ladd McConkey, Quentin Johnston and Oronde Gadsden II are his main listed receiving options. Their current projections keep this a selective stack rather than a portfolio foundation. Omarion Hampton and Keaton Mitchell provide running-back alternatives. Using a Chargers return should improve the construction’s game story, not simply satisfy a blanket rule.
Baltimore–Cleveland: tournament alternatives in a lower-total game
This game’s supplied total is 39.5. Huntley costs $4,700 and projects for 16.90, making him an inexpensive quarterback alternative if his starting assignment is confirmed. His supplied floor is only 1.66, so the cheap salary must not be confused with a safe cash profile. Deshaun Watson costs $4,900 with a 15.87 projection on the Cleveland side.
Zay Flowers is Baltimore’s receiving leader at 14.25 points for $7,100. Mark Andrews at $4,200 and Rashod Bateman at $3,900 are lower-cost stack partners. A Huntley–Flowers lineup can produce a very different salary distribution from the Allen and Stafford builds. Derrick Henry at $8,200 has a 16.55 mean and a supplied 34.60 ceiling, with 6.8% estimated ownership. He fits a tournament rushing-explosion branch, but that ceiling column is not a verified probability of such a result.
Cleveland’s receiving alternatives are Denzel Boston, Fannin and KC Concepcion Jr., with Jerry Jeudy and Isaiah Bond further down the model. Fannin’s $4,100 salary and 10.45 projection make him a useful tight-end comparison independent of a full game stack. Quinshon Judkins projects for 11.72. The stronger construction principle is to choose which side concentrates touchdowns, rather than pay for too many low-total-game pieces and hope each finds a score.
Carolina–Philadelphia: price-sensitive one-offs and a projection check
Carolina and Philadelphia share a supplied 39.5 total, with the Panthers at 21.3 implied points. Bryce Young projects for 18.41 at $5,700, which places him above Mahomes and Brissett in raw points. That makes him worth keeping visible even though his game environment is not a first-tier stack. A Young lineup should be compared directly with Shough at almost the same salary.
Tetairoa McMillan leads Carolina receivers at 15.45 for $7,300. Jalen Coker contributes 11.92 for $5,900, with Darren Waller and Tommy Tremble as cheaper tight-end alternatives. Hubbard at $6,300 and 16.41 projected points is a midrange running-back candidate. A Young–McMillan–Coker double stack needs a concentrated passing outcome that overcomes the lower total; a single stack is easier to fit without committing too much of the roster.
Philadelphia’s supplied quarterback is Tanner McKee at $4,000 and 12.19 projected points. DeVonta Smith and Dallas Goedert are the highest receiving projections, followed by Dontayvion Wicks and Makai Lemon. Dameon Pierce is the leading listed running back. These assignments need an official lineup check before use. Carolina’s defense projects for a slate-leading 8.70 at $2,500, an unusually strong value signal that should be validated. Do not oppose that defense with a full Philadelphia offensive stack in the same research lineup.
Pittsburgh–Tampa Bay: narrow exposure, identifiable salary relief
At 38.5, this is the lowest supplied total on the slate. That does not make every player unusable, but it reduces the appeal of spending four or five roster slots on the game. Pittsburgh has 20.5 implied points. Rodgers projects for 16.05 at $5,500; Jaylen Warren leads the offense at 16.20 for $7,000. DK Metcalf is the first receiver at 13.41 for $5,700.
Pat Freiermuth at $4,400 and Germie Bernard at $4,000 offer alternate receiving routes. Bernard’s 14.7% ownership estimate is high relative to his 8.57 projection, so this is a spot to distinguish salary relief from an automatic tournament edge. Darnell Washington is a deeper tight-end option with 5.28 projected points. A Rodgers–Metcalf single stack is easier to justify than assuming the entire passing tree needs to be included.
Jalon Daniels is the uploaded Tampa Bay quarterback at $4,800 and 15.39 projected points. His starting status needs confirmation. Emeka Egbuka at $5,200, Chris Godwin Jr. at $4,400 and Cade Otton at $3,300 are the leading receiving alternatives. Otton’s 8.15 projection gives an inexpensive tight-end branch, while Godwin can serve as a lower-cost return. Bucky Irving projects for 14.03 and supplies the rushing-led Tampa branch. Keep the game selective unless a specific construction clearly earns the extra concentration.
Cash priorities: expected points, price and avoidable fragility
Quarterback priority starts with Allen’s large raw advantage. Shough is the first serious savings comparison; Stafford is the middle-price projection alternative. Young also belongs in the discussion at $5,700. Cash construction should ask whether the cheaper quarterback materially upgrades two or three other slots. It should not pay extra solely for a familiar name, and it should not call a low-ownership quarterback safer because fewer people roster him.
At running back, Bijan is the premium starting point, followed by a comparison among Kyren, Cook and Stevenson for the rest of the roster. Bijan’s 26.54 projection is 6.86 ahead of Cook, the next running back, at an additional $1,300. Kyren’s $6,800 price for 18.72 points and Stevenson’s $6,000 price for 17.15 make their roster tradeoffs attractive. Hubbard, Skattebo and Braelon Allen are additional price-sensitive candidates. A high supplied ceiling is not a reason to ignore workload uncertainty.
At receiver, Puka has the best raw projection by a wide margin, but his salary cannot excuse weak filler at every other position. London is the $7,000 receiving alternative at 17.32 points, and Wilson provides 16.79 for $6,800. Worthy’s 13.08 for $4,600 is useful relief. Burden, Odunze and Kalif Raymond are Chicago options at different price points. Olave has a strong raw projection but still costs $7,600. Choose the entire roster, not an isolated list of favorite players.
At tight end, compare Johnson, Fannin and Pitts as salary-conscious candidates. Likely carries a large ownership estimate without a correspondingly large projection edge over Johnson or Warren. McBride and Bowers are premium options when the rest of the lineup can afford them. Their salaries can crowd out the strongest backs and receivers, so do not treat a premium tight end as mandatory. For defense, compare Carolina’s model-leading value with Tampa Bay and the cheaper Chargers rather than blindly maximizing projected DST points.
Cash does not require a forced quarterback double stack or an opposing return. Positive passing correlation can still appear naturally. A sensible cash roster can pair Shough with Johnson or Stafford with Puka without becoming a five-player game bet. Before finalizing, remove any player whose availability or role is materially different from the snapshot; avoiding a dead roster slot matters more than a small projection advantage.
Tournament priorities: earn the leverage
The first tournament choice is which quarterback result the lineup is betting on. Allen has the best median and substantial ownership. Stafford is a popular access point to the highest implied offense. Caleb, Shough, Maye and Cousins offer meaningful alternatives at different prices and estimated ownership. Penix, Brissett, Jones, Young and Huntley belong in a broader pool when their teammate combinations and salary savings produce a convincing complete lineup.
Among expensive receivers, Olave’s 6.6% ownership estimate contrasts with Puka’s 42.6%. That does not mean Olave is inherently the better play; Puka projects 6.14 points higher. The tournament question is whether the salary savings, a Shough correlation and the rest of the roster compensate for that gap. Adams can access Rams passing touchdowns differently from Puka. London can return a Chicago stack, while McBride offers a tight-end way to participate in Arizona’s passing production.
Henry, Flowers, Michael Wilson, Coker, McMillan and McBride all provide different lower-owned ceiling branches in the supplied model. Evaluate each against the lineup’s actual scoring requirements. A player projected below ten percent is not automatically leverage against every popular player at his position. Direct substitution leverage needs a plausible football relationship, such as a secondary receiver capturing touchdowns that otherwise benefit a popular teammate.
Cheap options also need selectivity. Royals, Kalif Raymond, Mayer, Pitts, Godwin and Otton have distinct salary and teammate uses. A minimum-salary receiver with one projected point is a very different risk from a $3,900 receiver projected near nine. Do not dilute a 150-lineup set by giving every low-projection name equal exposure. Keep the full directory for coverage, then choose a core and rotate meaningful alternatives around it.
How to build 150 without making 150 versions of one lineup
Use a candidate search of up to 5,000 and select a final research portfolio of 150. The candidate count is independent of the actual contest’s entry cap. A single-entry contest can still be researched with a large candidate pool, but only one lineup may ultimately be entered into that contest. This playbook does not certify the current live builder as operational or the imported salary IDs as verified.
For tournament stacks, begin with one quarterback and one primary receiving partner. Add a second receiver or tight end when the offensive concentration and price support it. Use a return from the opponent when competitive scoring is important to the thesis; omit it when a favorite can generate the required scores without the opponent keeping pace. Quarterback–running-back combinations are situational. They can capture a productive offense, but rushing touchdowns can compete with the quarterback’s passing output.
Across 150 lineups, inspect player shares, quarterback shares, game concentration and stack combinations together. A modest individual exposure cap does not prevent an entire portfolio from depending on one game. Likewise, changing the fifth receiver while repeating the same expensive core does little to diversify the main outcome. A minimum one-player difference ensures distinct rosters, but it is a weak measure of actual outcome diversity.
Projected ownership should appear per player and as a sum for the lineup. The sum can exceed 100 percent because it adds nine separate player shares. It is not the probability that the lineup is duplicated, and multiplying player ownership together assumes independence that stacked rosters do not have. A low total ownership number is not a substitute for projected points. Use ownership to compare close constructions and understand the field, rather than as a target that forces weak plays.
If a valid contest simulation is available, compare Sim ROI, expected net profit, risk-adjusted return, cash rate and first-place rate. They answer different questions. A lineup with a better median can be better for cash without having the strongest tournament first-place probability. A large first-place prize can produce unstable estimated ROI, so inspect the number of completed trials and repeatability. Keep the ranking objective fixed when saving a pregame comparison portfolio.
Save the exact 150-player-ID rosters, their ordered ranks, projections, ownership estimates, contest payout ladder, simulation settings and timestamp before the slate starts. After final scoring, compare actual fantasy points, hypothetical field ranks, ties, cashes, payouts and net profit. Preserve the pregame file. Rebuilding after seeing ownership or scores is a retrospective exercise and cannot replace an honest test of the recommendations available before lock.

Five complete research lineup examples
These salary-legal examples maximize supplied projection subject to each stated core. They illustrate construction, not five independently simulated recommendations. They do not include validated DraftKings IDs, injury checks or exact contest ownership/duplication modeling. Overlap is intentional for comparison; this is not a diversified five-entry portfolio.

Last checks before relying on the rankings
Confirm the slate’s actual date and game list, then confirm the official quarterback assignments. The uploaded model includes several quarterbacks whose presence drives major teammate decisions, including Huntley, McKee and Jalon Daniels. If a different quarterback starts, re-evaluate the receiving stack and the opposing defense rather than changing only the quarterback name.
Check each core player’s active status, expected role and salary. An unexpected absence can change more than a single projection: it can move receiving volume, create a cheaper teammate and alter the field’s ownership. Ownership estimates may lag late news. A cheap player who becomes a popular replacement is no longer the same low-owned tournament construction described by the original snapshot.
Review every lineup as a whole. Is the quarterback paired with an appropriate receiving route? Does a double stack need the game to stay competitive? Are too many thin punt plays paying for one superstar? Is the opposing defense included by accident? Does the claimed salary relief actually improve the rest of the lineup? These questions matter more than the cosmetic appearance of a perfectly spent $50,000.
After games finish, use the final contest export. A live leaderboard with remaining time cannot establish the winner or final payouts, and an early ownership snapshot cannot reveal players whose later games remain locked. Compare like-for-like slate and contest files. Keep the original projections and pregame 150 intact so future changes can be evaluated against real prediction errors, rather than rewritten around the players who happened to score.
