Send Julien a Lineup β€” Any Sport

Send in the lineup you actually played. It comes back graded, torn down slot by slot, with the specific changes that would have scored higher β€” from the #1-ranked DFS player in the country.

Overall grade
Sound players. Broken structure.
Single-stacked your QB. Hurts with one pass-catcher is the most common construction error in NFL DFS, and it is the one that quietly caps your ceiling. When Hurts throws four touchdowns you capture one of them. You have taken on all of the QB's variance and bought back almost none of the correlated upside.
No bring-back. Nothing from the opposing side of the Eagles game. Shootouts are how DFS lineups win, and a shootout without a bring-back scores your stack and then stops. You are implicitly rooting for a 31–10 game, which is the least likely outcome on the slate.
Four of nine in the same salary band. $5,900–$7,100 four times over. That is not roster construction, that is drifting toward the middle. Nothing here is cheap enough to unlock a true stud and nothing is expensive enough to be one.
The fix. Drop Smith-Njigba to DeVonta Smith — now you are double-stacked and the salary saved buys up at FLEX. Turn Odunze into the opposing WR1 for the bring-back. Same money, same players you liked, roughly triple the ceiling.
Regraded: B+. The projection barely moves. The 99th percentile outcome moves enormously. That gap is the entire game.

How Julien reads a lineup

Every lineup runs the same six-category rubric before it reaches GiantSquid, so grades mean the same thing in Week 2 as they do in Week 15. The machine does the measuring. He does the judgment.

25 pts

Stack construction

QB pairings, double-stack depth, and whether your correlation actually pays when your game script hits.

20 pts

Bring-back & game theory

Are you rooting for a shootout or a blowout? Most lineups quietly root for the wrong one.

20 pts

Salary allocation

Band clustering, punt quality, and whether you left leverage on the table at the top or the bottom.

15 pts

Ownership leverage

Cumulative ownership against the winning band for the contest you actually entered.

10 pts

Ceiling vs. field

Your 99th percentile against the score that historically takes down a field that size.

10 pts

Contest fit

Cash construction in a GPP is a losing lineup even when it cashes. Fit gets graded on its own.

Nothing is charged here. Your lineup goes straight to James and GiantSquid, and you'll get a payment link back with the teardown. If it isn't worth $10 to you when you see it, don't pay it — we'd rather have you back next week than have your money once.

Trouble with a payment, your card, or getting access? Email [email protected] β€” it goes straight to James.
