Three-game Friday slate · October 16 · 7:30 p.m. ET. Separate from Saturday Main.
Build around quarterback scoring, compare complete cash rosters, and use a specific passing script for each tournament entry.
The cash decision: buy quarterback scoring first
Marcus Stokes is the first quarterback to compare in the uploaded Friday pool. Start by fitting him with Deuce Bailey in SuperFlex, then compare the complete eight-player result against the Ryan Browne alternative below. Two quarterbacks provide distinct passing and rushing scoring routes. The builder's portfolio default targets a QB in SuperFlex in 90% of returned lineups; it does not require every individual lineup to use two.
Use the projection board as a salary allocation tool. A high-priced receiver must justify the cuts he forces at running back and the remaining receiver spots. For cash contests, prefer the stronger combined projection and floor across the complete roster rather than selecting a collection of recognizable names. The two cash examples below show the tradeoff directly.

Three passing scripts for tournaments
Memphis passing: Stokes paired with his receiver makes scoring more concentrated. A Tulane return gives the construction a route to benefit from a competitive game. Memphis' official game center confirms the October 16 matchup at Tulane. Correlation can raise upside, but it also causes several slots to fail together if the game disappoints.
Washington passing: Elijah Brown offers a separate quarterback-led script. Use a receiver from his team and a return from the opponent, then compare the salary compromises against the Memphis build. Ownership estimates are an input to the comparison, not evidence that a less popular player will outperform.
Bailey passing: The Deuce Bailey example concentrates on a third passing environment. Do not combine every inexpensive player into every roster: a viable passing stack still needs enough standalone running-back production and a credible second quarterback.
Choose the contest before choosing the objective
Friday has 19 supplied contest profiles, kept separate from Saturday's 42. Double ups reward clearing one cash threshold; tournaments reward reaching the extreme upper tail. The $1K White-Out offers a smaller single-entry field and a flatter payout than the $8K Coffin Corner's $2,000 first prize. These are different objectives even when the same core fits both contests.
The $150 Fourth Down, $75 Daily Dollar and $500 Triple Option were lightly filled when copied. Those are snapshots, not locked overlay claims. Compare final entries and payout structure near lock. Satellites award tickets, whose usefulness depends on entering the final; do not describe their face value as freely withdrawable cash.
Before the 7:30 p.m. ET lock
Check starters, injury news, and the exact contest slate. Retain a late-swap alternative where the contest permits it. The CFB feed retains provider identifiers; match an official DraftKings salary export before attempting a DK entry-file upload. Saving the examples tonight does not protect against a late scratch.
For a simulation comparison, set the selected contest's entry fee and full payouts, run thousands of shared outcome trials, and compare expected profit, ROI, cash rate and first-place rate. Low-probability finishes need substantially more trials than broad cash outcomes to stabilize. A high estimated return is not a guarantee or a substitute for checking input quality.
